Question from John Bogle: Asked on 05/09/2008 Thanks for the reply but I already knew it supported a higher res than the projector. What I want to be sure of is that there would be an option of outputting at the exact native resolution of the projector - 1400 x 1050. I don't really want to spend £1200 on a laptop only to find it doesn't get the best out of the projector. It is for my camera club and we want to be sure we can project the absolute best quality image which means we must project at 1400 x 1050.
Question from John Bogle: Asked on 03/09/2008 I am looking to combine a laptop with a Canon XEED SX6 and am considering this one. Are you able to confirm if I can run the laptop at it's native resolution of 1440 x 900 and send an image at 1400 x 1050 (the projector's native resolution) to the projector at the same time. I understand it should be possible to have the laptop and projector running at different resolutions however I cannot find out anywhere if the actual resolution of 1400 x 1050 is supported by the video card on the laptop. I know it can handle higher resolutions but not if it can handle that exact resolution.
