Question from RIZ-SA: Asked on 18/12/2008 Which graphics card is better- intel GMAX3100 or nVidia GeForce 9300M? What is the main difference between the two? Kindly answer please. Thank You.

Answer from Matt: Answered on 19/12/2008
The 9300M is better, as the X3100 is just an onboard one with shared system memory. The 9300M is a separate NVIDIA unit with it's own dedicated memory.

Question from Steve: Asked on 16/10/2008 Windows running in parallels is excelent (one of the best dual OS systems I've used), however with 2GB installed only about 600MB memory is available for the parallels machine. Is there a better way to configure this to allow more memory to the windows environment?

Answer from Matt: Answered on 17/10/2008
Not sure about that one, as I'm not too familiar with Macs. Try searching for Mac forums as I'm sure those people will be able to help.

Question from PHILIP: Asked on 16/08/2008 I'm looking for a laptop for film editing as I am starting a course at college. What would you recommend for this?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 18/08/2008
Apple mac would be great for this but just check compatibility with your course as they may need you to go PC based instead. If that is the case get something with a fast processor and plenty of RAM, the more the better when it comes to video editing.

Question from andyt: Asked on 15/07/2008 I'm a teacher and all of my school's documents are on word or excell. If I get Windows for Mac is everything 100% compatible? E.g. does mac excell support VB inserts?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 17/07/2008
If you put Windows on an Intel Mac it's identical to any other machine with Windows on it, in terms of compatibility. Not sure about Mac Excel features though, sorry.

Question from Stephen: Asked on 02/04/2008 Is it possible to buy the extended applecare warranty with it, if so how much is it? Or do you know if it is possible to purchase it directly from apple even if the computer isn't bought off their website?

Answer from SteveF: Answered on 03/07/2009
Yes, all our apple warranties are listed under the warranty category. Please call our sales team if you have trouble finding them.
